Habakkuk 2:2-4 NKJV
Habakkuk 2:2
Then the Lord answered me and said:
“Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it.
Habakkuk 2:3
For the vision is yet for an appointed time;
But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it;
Because it will surely come,
It will not tarry.
Habakkuk 2:4
“Behold the proud,
His soul is not upright in him;
But the just shall live by his faith. NKJV
- Faith – Trusting Him Exclusively
- Focus – Completing His will Entirely
- Favor – Enjoying His Blessings Extravagantly
Faith – Trusting Him Exclusively
Faith is a journey of trust NOT of sight
2 Corinthians 5:7
For we walk by faith, not by sight. NKJV
Fixing our eyes on the unseen will change our present experience
2 Corinthians 4:16
Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.
2 Corinthians 4:17
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,
2 Corinthians 4:18
while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. NKJV
The sin /selfish side values the sight
Genesis 3:4
Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die.
Genesis 3:5
For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
Genesis 3:6
So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. NKJV

Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:2
For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.
Hebrews 11:3
By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
Hebrews 11:4
By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks.
Hebrews 11:5
By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; ◙ for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Hebrews 11:7
By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.
Hebrews 11:8
By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.
Hebrews 11:9
By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise;
Hebrews 11:10
for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
Hebrews 11:11
By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she ◙ bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.
Hebrews 11:12
Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude—innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore. NKJV
