Stupid Broncos
I am an avid Broncos fan!www.denverbroncos.com – I have been watching this latest fiasco from a distance. I do not understand why the new head coach would even consider trading Cutler unless it was one of those trades reminiscent of the Herschel Walker deal that set the Cowboys up! Denver had the number 2 ranked Offense last year, Cutler is a a third year player with lots of potential, young, great arm, leader. Immature, you bet! But who isn’t in there 20’s, 30’s and so on HA! If you want to move him, do it next year! Deal with the defense that has mastered giving up third and 25, all day long! To say they are porous would be a complement!
OK- off the Broncos and over to the life application here! To often we change what we need to keep and keep what we need to change.
Change is simple, you just to decide to change and do it. Here is a simple look @ change Need+Decision+Action+Implementation = Change. Note that need is first – until you decide what you NEED to change, your changes will dance around. Notice I did not put “want”… yes, wants create change. In the want cateragory change is even easier/ shorter WANT = CHANGE. In John 5, Jesus actually asked a man that been lame a long time if he “Wanted to be well” Once you decide you want to change, you do! Its the need to changes that challenge us!
What areas of your life do you need to change? In your marriage, health, finances, spiritually. Take five minutes today, write down these three areas 1) relationships 2) spirituality 3) finances. Then list the first change you need to make, not want, but NEED!
