Marty Sloan – Living the Dream

I just heard the most profound thing said by President Obama as I sit here tonight and listen to his speech to the nation. I need to note that I have watched Presidential speeches for years and all of them have a bit of insanity to them.

First,  I am some times more intrigued by the people sitting behind the President, the VP and The House Speaker.  I really think that watching Nancy Pelosi is nothing less than entertaining. How you feel about her politics is irrelevant to me, you gotta admit she is “interesting”. Second, I wonder if anyone has ever charted all the things said in these speeches by all Presidents and how much of that actually gets done… do not panic, I am not a cynic, its just a question . Third, have you ever wondered if those in the Congress have sore thighs the day after, from all the standing and sitting – I feel like i am in Sunday School singing “father Abraham”

Oh ya… what was it the President said???? He said that no government legislation or law can ever replace a parent … and all the people said AMEN!  So start encouraging the family and maybe the family can in return encourage America!  By family I am speaking of husbands and wives, children, parents and grandparents.  Start by reversing abortion, gay marriage, stupid divorce laws, killing the elderly and so on – if the family can do what Government cannot then take the Government out of destroying the families in America!  The problem with america is that we want the blessings and benefits of what God created as the family, yet we want to redefine the family

God set up a plan that works! Start working His plan! Really, it will work! No seriously, it will work.
